Love should be unconditional. It saddens me to hear of gay and lesbian family members disowning their children when they come out. Many people point to their religious beliefs to justify turning their back on their own children. It is most important for me to have children that are happy, healthy, well adjusted, caring, good character and productive within our society. That is what people should be focused on, not spewing religious hatred toward a group of people because they are different than the majority.
